The idea to incorporate the popular fitness brand into the video was brought upon following Daddy Yankee's participation at this year's International Zumba Convention, and seeing Grant's role as famed instructor within the Zumba community through participation in the brand's ever-so-popular instructional DVDs and video games. Internationally recognized Zumba® instructor, Gina Grant lent her participation in a special cameo in the video, also accompanied by her daughters Maliah and Anaya. In this case, Limbo was filmed in an various exotic settings, including historic ruins, forest, and jungle settings in which DY is engulfed in a subculture of men and women overpowered by the sensual and alluring dance of "Limbo".ĭirector Jessy Terrero, who has previously collaborated with Daddy Yankee on other music videos such as Rompe and Pose, was able to combine the rhythm and lyrics of this song to create a fantasy world around a habitat in which Daddy Yankee emerges, accompanied by a troop of dancers and extras, among them many exquisite models who added to the beauty and marvel of this video.
